​​I'm absolutely delighted to welcome Chint Solar to The Regent Offices as they open their brand‑new Wrexham base — their 10th global office and a major milestone for the company.

When I first created The Regent Offices & Business Centre, my goal was to offer a modern, professional workspace in the heart of Wrexham that would attract ambitious, forward-thinking organisations, small and large.  Seeing that vision realised with tenants like Chint Solar is something I'm incredibly happy about.  We have had solar panels on the building's roof since 2013 and hope to add more in due course, subject to planning consent.  Personally, we have had our bungalow roof completely stripped and renewed with slate and Solar panels, designed and specified by my husband, Ralph, who is a self-confessed solar geek. 

​Chint Solar is a major name in the renewable energy sector, and their decision to establish a further UK office and choose The Regent speaks volumes about Wrexham's growing reputation and potential.  Their focus on clean, sustainable energy aligns perfectly with the kind of innovative businesses we're committed to supporting.

Heading up the Wrexham office is Ben Bateman, Senior Project Manager for Chint Europe, who brings extensive experience in delivering large‑scale renewable energy projects. Ben’s leadership will be instrumental in helping shaping Chint Solar’s UK operations, and we’re thrilled to have him and team members from across Europe as part of  The Regent and Wrexham business community.

TGP Mortgages and Insurance made a significant move by settling into their spacious and modern office at The Regent in July of this year. At the firm's helm, Tom Pitman, the dynamic director, has ambitious plans to expand their footprint in Wrexham, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed. He has earned recognition as the leading winner in the category of Fee-Free Independent Mortgage Brokers within the city, a testament to his dedication and the firm’s commitment to exceptional service.
 
With an eye on growth and innovation, TGP is striving for excellence. They eloquently state, “At TGP Mortgage & Insurance, we believe in breaking down barriers in the mortgage industry. In a significant step to enhance their client interactions, TGP expanded their office space in October by adding the Beaumaris. This serene and dedicated area is explicitly designed for in-person and online meetings, providing an inviting atmosphere where clients feel comfortable and secure. Here, they can share their financial details, free from exposure concerns. The Beaumaris offers a private setting where confidentiality is paramount, understanding that discussions about finances and future aspirations can provoke various emotions. This thoughtful addition reflects TGP’s commitment to fostering genuine human connections while protecting clients’ sensitive information.

As I said in my previous update, Tom and his team are part of the new breed of mortgage brokers. They are at the forefront of a revolution in the industry, and I wish them great success in Wrexham and beyond!

It's a testament to the quality of The Regent that we've been graced with tenants from the finance sector, including accountants and wealth management specialists who have found their office in Wrexham a 'space to thrive'.   G M Wealth Management, for instance, started in The Library at The Regent and is now next door but one at 63 Regent Street.

On 1st July, I handed over the keys to the Conwy Suite at 67 Regent Street to Tom Pitman, the Director and founder of TGP Mortgages and Insurance. Tom is well respected in the industry and the Wrexham area for his approach to mortgages and has a wealth of experience and technical know-how. His team's adept use of modern technology will revolutionise the client experience and drive the business forward; they are part of a new breed of brokers! 

TGP has taken a front-facing, first-floor office, which gives them a great view up and down Regent Street and onto Mold Road. Client access is very easy via rail, foot, or car. The light and airy space makes it a very welcoming workplace.

I wish Tom and his team tremendous success in their new home at The Regent, 67 Regent Street. I hope it will prove to be their ‘space to thrive’.
